La Scolca: Chiara Soldati is appointed Cavaliere del Lavoro
On Monday, May 30th were signed by President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, at the proposal of the Minister of Economic Development, Giancarlo Giorgetti, in agreement with the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Policies, Stefano Patuanelli the decrees appointing 25 Cavalieri del Lavoro (Knight of the Order of Merit for Labour). They include, for the agriculture and wine sector, Chiara Soldati, CEO of the prestigious Piedmontese winery La Scolca.
"I am really very proud, not only for Piedmont but the whole Italian wine sector, for such a prestigious recognition" says Chiara Soldati, CEO of La Scolca. “This is an acknowledgment of a 103-years long commitment of my family, leading me to view this milestone as a new departure. It is a drive to look to the future with courage, conviction and ever-increasing determination and aim at consolidating the success of the Italian wine sector."
